This Privacy Policy explains how Ropora ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Ropora iOS app and the getropora.com website.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
- Wardrobe content. Photos of clothing items you add, outfits you save, and details you enter about them (category, color, size, brand, notes).
- Profile and preferences. Optional information such as sizes, style preferences, language, and, if you opt in, an avatar photo used to personalize outfit previews.
- Social content. Posts, reactions, poll votes, and friend connections you create when using social features.
- Purchase status. If you subscribe, we receive subscription status information (not your payment details) from Apple via our payments partner RevenueCat.
- Usage and diagnostics. Basic usage data and crash reports so we can fix problems and improve the app.
How we use your information
- To provide the app's core features: storing your wardrobe, generating studio photos, and suggesting outfits.
- To process images and generate stylist suggestions using third-party AI services. Images and relevant wardrobe details are sent to these services solely to produce results for you and are not used by us to build advertising profiles.
- To manage subscriptions, free trials, promo codes, and usage limits.
- To operate social features you choose to use.
- To diagnose crashes and abuse, and to keep the service secure.
Service providers
We use a small number of processors to run Ropora: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Google (AI image generation), Anthropic (AI text suggestions), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple (payments), and Sentry (crash reporting). Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not use your photos to train our own AI models.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app; this permanently removes your account, wardrobe photos, and social content from our systems. You can also email us to request deletion.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@getropora.com and we will respond promptly.
Children
Ropora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
